Especially, in relation to works of Gail Collins and When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women from 1960 to the Present (2009 and 2014 as a keepsake edition). That was sequel of her previous work on America’s Women: Four Hundred Years of Dolls, Drudges, Helpmates, and Heroines (2003). I still can’t believe that first was overlooked by both of them. At the same time have no clue whatsoever if Ms Traister ever read that book. I read both of them. In which I have recently started reading. So far, I have beyond both love and hate relationship author/book. I for one can’t wait to continue reading it.
